FEJ, formerly known as Lil' FEJ has worked his way up as being the best musician out of Liberia West Africa yet. The indie artists was born on May 8th 1988 to Joshua and Albertha James in Monrovia, Liberia. Followed later with 3 sisters and two brothers. The family was fortunate to have migrated to the USA. Moving to the USA gave FEJ the opportunity to accomplish a long time dream of becoming a musical artist. Living in Trenton, NJ, he was able to work and buy some studio time to record a demo. With a demo shipped out to Enfinity Records in 2003, FEJ was offered a recording contract with Enfinity Music South Africa. With a debut album set to hit stores in 2005, FEJ worked day and night to make the label's release date. Finnally the debut album Spiritual Speaking hit stores in West Africa, iTunes , Amazon, Yahoo Music, Best Buy,and more. Selling over 120,000 plus to today's date, With hits like 'Dance' and 'Ballin' Wit Christ', the album went platinum exceeding Africa's 50,000 units per gold margin. He wasn't done yet, In 2007 he did it again. With a single that hit BET like winter storm. "I Wont Stop" the first single pushed the second album Urban Reality to hit the gold margin again. Even though FEJ didn't outsell himself the second time around, he still left a mark in the music industry. Making him the best selling musician out of Liberia and part's of Africa. What really set him apart was the birth of his independent record label in 2004. As CEO, FEJ is slowly building an empire. Sign to his label are artists like E-boy, F1, Fornati and more. When asked, how could all of this be possible? he responded "With God, all things are possible"
